Beautiful and passionate Polish poster art reflective of the lives and times of the Polish artists and themes they were made to advertise. The graphic representation of subject matter can be rather poignant, eliciting a strong and heart palpitating response from the intended viewer.
Many of the posters are beautiful, wonderful works of art – when examining the artistry of the individual pieces, the expressiveness of the art itself is what draws me in. I enjoy work that has a lot of expressive brush strokes along with the texture and color.
I like to stimulate my mind by looking at all of the different elements that the artist had revealed in their pictorial representations in each poster. Most of them illustrate a specific story or theme (opera, theater, movie) these illustrations are all very exciting and seem to unearth a wanting from the viewer- a wanting to see more or further figure out the meaning; or in fact question “why”, “what” or “geez that is not attractive” or even “how beautifully interesting”.
